    Helix Immages

i have alway been a fan of lowrance 2D but ive seen how much Bird can be better than lowrance on SI/DI. i have a helix 10 g2n SI Mega, Helix 10 G3N (linked to the g2n) & a Helix 12 DI Chirp modle. to me the chirp is the best image i can find on DI & 2d.

I see all the pictures of crystal clear shots on bridges and tres etc but have never been able to see that. This weekend i fished an old bridge and on the SS & DI (mega) it looked worse than it did on the 12 chirp. not sure where the settings are supposed to be at. ive played with them as much as i can.

heres some shots from this past weekend from the 12 chirp. most of the pictures are of me trolling over or sitting over the bridge/road bed. most the fish i see arer what i think are white bass & gar. one shot is clearly bass cause they look like the tic tacs i should see.

let me know what yall think,

To help us out you need to edit and rotate the photos where we can see them better.

It would be a lot better to learn to take screen snaphots with the unit and post them. Some of the pics are out of focus with the camera and the water spots cause a lot if obstruction when using a camera.

Is the Helix 12 CHIRP DI unit a first generation?

Use the entire model name when discussing units.

Are you in "clear" mode or "max" mode? Do you have more than 1 transducer? If the 2d is not in max mode, that looks like ours when we have the TM 2d on as well as the transom transducer 2d.
