    Longmire

Great series. Rewatching it again. If you like the series, the Longmire books by Craig Johnson are even better. The character of Vic is a hoot in the books.

Yes they greatly expand on Vic in the books. I enjoyed reading the books as well.

I don't read fiction, do the books end different than the series? I always wondered who was on the other end of the line when Walt took that final phone call on his horse. I had to try some Rainier, and I was not real impressed.

The tv show loosely followed some of the story lines in the books. You get more in depth on the characters like Walt, Vic, Henry etc. each book is a mystery all its own with background continuing story lines. Henry standing bear is much larger person in the books as several characters are different like Ferguson but you still have Lucian the old sheriff, Hector, Walts daughter although not as much in the books. I never was a reader myself but have read these and some of the Jack Reacher stories as well. In Jack Reachers books Tom Cruise is about 1 foot shorter than the actual book character of Jack Reacher but he did pretty good at pulling it off.

Henry was my favorite character by far. That sarcastic wisdom he always gave Walt was great. My wife gets on to me because my son uses the phrase OIT every now and then..lol

Great show. I’m surprised I never heard of it when it was originally on cable.

I really enjoyed the show except the final episode. I really didn't like how they ended it. I may have to read the books sometime.

Thanks for the Book Mention and Thanks to all the support of the Book series. I was going to the Library in the morning to pick out a few fall readers.

I want to spray paint that on some ones car so bad, just don't think they'd get the joke.
