    ran the boat sunday

    2013 xrd with 2012 merc 250 pro xs. 79.5 gps fully loaded. Water pressure at 14 psi. Good one foot chop. May raise motor one more click up. Anyway saw a ranger get up out of the hole and take off as I was heading back to dock. It had a g2 rude on the back. He was about 100 yards across from me and it took a while to run him down. I slowed down to get to dock and he got close to me to make a run. I decide not to run him as I didn't want to get my feelings hurt. That g2 is stout.

    i would think I would out run him, but man I saw it come out of the hole and pass me while I was running. I didn't think I was gonna catch him
