    In search of HDS9 Parts

Does anyone happen to have any HDS9t Gen3 units they are parting out? The threaded insert (used to mount via knobs on the U bracket) on mine came out, although they are pressed in, the hole is elongated and chewed up, looking for a replacement rear cover. Lowrance/Navico was no help on the phone. Still need to check if still in warranty when I get home, however it will be faster to swap it out myself, unit works fine otherwise.

Yea I can use jbl weld or structural adhesive, but itll happen again. Especially since the hole is all jacked up now too. I was not using locks. I have two mounted on a deck it console mount, using brackets and the normal lowrance knobs.

Make the hole bigger and press in a larger insert and get a larger knob.

I have the ability to make that happen, however I was hoping someone had some broken units laying around first, rather than rigging it up.
