Does anyone know if this project is dead or still a possibility?

Last I heard, they had the mold done and were putting one together. It's very alive. I am supposed to go down there soon, hopefully I can sneak a peak.

at this point after all the 2 week notes you would probly have a better chance on seeing mating bigfoots.

i got ride and drive it
great Champion ride, even handles better

i think if Champion had stayed in business, this is what they would end up being

    great boat!

"Tip over" I think was a bit of an embellishment but you can not deny they leaned with 2 folks on the gunnels casting. That's the one thing I did not like about the 187's other than that it was my fav boat and I'm looking for another one or a 188!

Had a buddy with a Ranger 492VS when I had my Champion 201 and his would list as much as mine if we both fished off the same side. I agree it was a bit of an embellishment.

I heard that it is getting closer to completion. Joe said it would be done by the end of the year.

    Is a 203 rated for a 250?

Yeah, longer wait than the 210. I don't know about the last 203s (TN built) they may be 250. The Mountain Home boats were "Any V6". USCG doesn't put a limitation on vessels over 20', so whatever it is, is imposed by the manufacturer.

Kelly Power told me it’s a Mountain Home hull, but it is a tank under the seats rather than in the rear, but if it’s rated for 250 that shouldn’t be a problem…. He also states high 50’s low 60’s boat and trailer…. So, 92 inch beam, should be a rocket, Champion hull , modern top cap…. Personally, I like the Charger look better than the Bass Cat. But Bass Cat guys will tell you the Hybrid hull is a rock solid hull, not the fastest but is very stable at high speed, no need to “ drive it”!!!
