    2017 521c. 250 gen 2. Prop and set up.

What is the best prop and engine height everyone is using. I have a 14-12x26 raker2 on mine with a 4” atlas Hydrolic jackplate 2 10’ talons. Top speed I’ve seen was 69.5 mph. Empty livewell. I Boat came factory read this way and the motor is up one hole on the Jack Plate I cannot trim up all the way I have to bring it down to about 3/4 to get maximum speed anything higher than that I get a huge rooster tail and I’ve never been able to touch the Jack plate While running was wondering if I should lower the motor down on the plate and if this would help this seems useless to have this Jack plate outside of getting the extra parents set back. I also noticed that the plugs are all closed on the prop I have no problem with hole shot so I’ve never touch those boat is brand new bought it as a leftover so I am the first owner

    69.5 sounds about right.

I agree, 69.5 sounds about right for average conditions. 3/4 trim sounds about right, too.
