Rod for lucky craft pointer 128

I’m looking for a rod to throw the pointer 128, found out this weekend that my normal suspending jerkbait rod doesn’t have near enough back bone. Prefer a kistler rod, anyone have any suggestions?

The biggest pointer I have is the 100 and I use a MH 6'3 inch graphite rod that would be a fast action regardless of how it is labeled. If I wanted to throw a 1oz Pointer on a Kistler, I would be looking at the Helium series. My HE 7'3H will have the action I want but it too long for me. Maybe a shorter version HE3 in Heavy power.

If you gave me that bait now and said fish it, I would pull out my 7 foot custom loomis 847

Thanks for the input, I decided on a kistler klx feel n feel 7’ heavy, 1 ounce is the sweet spot for back one on this rod and has 1/3 glass tip, has just the right backbone to rip out of grass but right tip for distance/ working the bait.

I use a Powell Endurance 610cb for all jerkbait fishing. But think it is underpowered for the application and think I could use more of a MH blank.
