    Question TRAILERING WITH MOTOR DOWN?

    Hi all
Can you tow your boat with the motor trimmed down and the hydraulic jack plate raised all the way up.
    Thanks for any replies

Yep, not a good idea to trailer with the hydraulic jack plate elevated.

I also think you trim up less for clearance purposes, but because at 1/3 trim up the weight is more evenly distributed on the motor mount.
