    Mercury repair recommendations N. IL / SE WI

    Sorry not necessarily fishing related, but I’m looking for a mercury mechanic within 1.5 hours of Rockford. Haven’t had any mechanical issues for years, so I don’t know much about any of the shops around. Just looking for any info to help me find a good place for some service I need done. TY

    I've heard good things about Jerry's marine in Beloit... at least for older carb motors

    Marine Engine and Drive in West Chicago is where I've been taking my boat for a while. Dan Cerling owns it. I think he's retiring though in the spring.
