Hummingbird heading sensor line

Mine only shows when the boat is moving. Is there a setting to keep it on all the time on my Solix?

There are 2 lines heading and course over ground
Heading is yellow and COG is green
Heading will show all the time showing you what direction the boat is pointed and requires the heading sensor
COG shows the direction the boat is moving and only shows when you are moving at least .3 MPH and works off the GPS antenna
I think you are confusing the COG line with the heading line

If you have the heading sensor make sure the heading line is set to display

While on the chart page
Click top left “Chart”
Then click “Chart Options”
Then “Overlays”
Then “Vessel”
Make sure the box for heading line is checked

Thanks a bunch. It never had been turned on. I think the erratic line must have been cog. I turned it off. Now we’ll see how it behaves next time on the water. There is so much to learn when one switches electronic worlds.
