What is everyone using? I really don't want to use a traditional one that attaches to the trailer.

As do I...I'm waiting for something that doesn't sit on the cylinder of the hydraulics.

There's another one that is out, but it has the opportunity to fall off if not properly secured.

I'm using a Tote-Rite. Working great so far. Can't imagine it falling off.

Have any pictures of it on? I've only seen the video and it wasn't appealing enough to make me purchase it.

theres more than one model for the bigger motors not sure about the 150.
the one I have will not fall off like the original and also has movable arms to keep mtr from turning so no steering locks are needed.

Looks to me like the tote-rite doesn't raise the motor high enough. I wouldn't be able to pull out of my driveway without the lower unit hitting the ground.

That's not good....unless you have a hydro jack plate, then you could raise the motor that way???

Thanks for the link! Ya, $160 is a little much, but maybe a Christmas present from the wife. Also, did you peel original decals or simply cover them up with the new ones?

Definitely remove the old ones first. they come off pretty easy with a heat gun.

Looks like Tote-Rite came out with a new one for the Merc 140 4-strokes. They claim it floats?
