Years ago, I installed a sending unit on my Merc 125 4-cylinder and it was quite easy. Bolted to the pivot point and the wiring was already under the cowling.
How hard is it to install on a 25 HP Bigfoot 4-stroke? Is the wiring already there for it, too?

I just had my 2008 60 hp efi 4 stroke done this week. The mechanic told me it was not that hard to do. The sending unit for the motor & wires & labor to do everything was $237.00. I cut the hole in the dash myself. I found the guage on line for $19.00 plus shipping & I bought that myself. I just bought this boat & it had no trim guage so this will be a nice addition.
According to the Parts Catalog, you can install Part# 822573A12 (Sender Kit, Power Trim).

Brown w/white stripe is the traditional ANALOG sender wire color.
