Does the Hyco Lake Authority wave the launch fee of $25 if fishing the tournament?

    Ok. Thanks
No I’m sure they won’t waive the $25 daily fee. I just get the yearly pass bc I’ll fish there a a lot between jan-May & Oct- dec

The lake authority doesn’t waive anything.

OK thanks Larry. I miss fishing Hyco. Use to make the trip from Gibsonville, NC and fish the lake at least twice a week long before the ramps were rebuilt and really like Hyco. When Duke Energy told the Lake Authority they would increase the launch fee both annual and daily to $75 and $25 so much for that. Still travel to Mayo and The Hyco Afterbay where the bite has been good when there.

I'm thinking about trying out Hyco for the first time Saturday but not seeing much info online about the $25 ramp fee. Where do I get the permit and is it available 24/7? Hoping to be at the ramp before 7AM, just want to make sure I have a way to get onto the water before making the drive..

you can launch then pay at the office when you take out. there is normally a small throw together tournament every sat morning. 50 per boat that includes big fish.
