    Helix 10 Chirp Mega SI & GPS G3N ?

    Depth reading went from accurate, 8ft, to 1000 ft + yesterday. Never went back to correct reading. Unit is less than a year old, total time 28 hrs. Software version 1.860. Transducer appears normal. Any suggestions on correcting the problem appreciated. If this has been covered in another thread, please point me in the right direction. Thanks. Very frustrating.

    try installing latest update.... There has been several software releases since 1.860 that have addressed the depth issues

    Less than 5 minutes. The unit will restart when the software is loaded.

    Did you answer the install questions correctly, Yes and then No ?

    Change the User Mode to CUSTOM.
    Default is ANGLER.

    Thank you Wayne, that corrected it. It would appear I still have the original issue with the depth reading, showing 900’ in 10’ of water. Still under warranty so we’ll see. Thanks again.

    I’ve notice my “networking” icon is no longer in the menu options. Is there anyway to retrieve it or is it listed another way after the upgrade? Thanks.

    Yes, the network icon shows up on my Helix 9. Is there a location in the menu that has Ethernet connectivity status? I can’t find it on the 10. Thanks
