Heading sensor off 20° or more

I have 2 Solix 10s networked and an Ulterra with ipilot link. I also have a Lowrance HDS GEN3 at the bow. I use the Low for 2 d and down and the bow Solix for chart functions. I calibrated the sensor and set heading up. The sensor line rarely, if ever, points the way I am going. Are there settings to correct this?

This is for an Onix with the humminbird heading sensor. Will be the same for the solix. It is a lot easier when setting the offset if you have one unit on the map screen and the other on the offset menu. This way you can see the heading and course lines on one unit while making adjustments on the other

I watched the video several times. Some of the menu items didn’t match. I still can’t figure it out.

Go to network > under sensor port choose NM0183(1) > data offset > heading adjustment

What heading sensor are you using? Minn Kota or Humminbird

Have you verified there's no magnetic interference near heading sensor?

The HB heading sensor is a NMEA 0183 device that connects directly to the head unit. Not over N2K. Do what ntslam suggested.

Unless you’ve got a different brand of HS.

Ok. I didn’t know that. I’ll try it out tomorrow morning.
