    Two side scan transducer placement

Running the 3-d transducer on my off shore bracket and am wanting to install a ai side scan also. If I mount them side by side with 16 inches between them at the same height will one block the other. I am running the 18.3 123 on the 3D but am getting slight interference from my airmar 185 on the side image the airmar is on and want to see if running 800 on the ai will clear it up. Can these 2 sides can ducer be mounted side by side without blocking signal. THANKS

Run different frequencies and should be fine.

Not sure why the reasoning to run a second SS transducer, but not my boat.

Well can compared the 3-d and the ai and the 3-d is a lot clearer.
Running the s3d-61-1-123 I need to run the contrast at plus 8 and with the
ai on 455 contrast is good at auto. You can see fish on the 3 d that I can’t see on the
ai. 800 is sort of worthless as it falls out at about 80 feet. I still don’t understand why
I get interference on the side my 2 d is on in 83 or 200 but can live with it. 200 isn’t as
bad as 83 but if you stop 2 d the side scan is perfectly clear.
