    New Trailer question

I was planning on restoring my old tube trailer. Sand off the rusted areas/prime/paint/bearings/breaks. Breaks are not functional at this point. Its 23 yrs. old. After paying to lift and store my boat for 2 months, put in the time and effort to get it where it needs to be, including brakes, I starting looking at new.
The Venture aluminum looks interesting for 3k, but the bunk set up is nothing like a bass boat bunk set up. Is this easily modified?

Nothing wrong with doing it that way, but I would like them longer.

Dealer can modify bunks with different brackets. I got a LoadRite 5 Starr trailer, had the second pair of bunks added for my Champion 206. Haven't had any issues once I got the boat moved forward to get more weight on the tongue than the dealer set it up with.
