    Cool Leaving Minnesota

Welp, I got a job offer I couldn't refuse in South Florida and I'm moving by Jan 1. Trading home lakes from Prior Lake to Okeechobee!

I'll still be around on the forums and can't wait to share my first 10ber with you guys :)

A lot of new and cool looking stuff to explore with bigger fish also. The only downside I see is a lot tougher fishing. Have fun and enjoy your new adventure.

    Prior or Okeechobee?? Hmmm..........I think that's a no-brainer.

Good luck to you! (and let me know if there are any Prior secrets you want to leave in Savage! )

My Prior Secrets are: Fish a different lake

I never did quite figure out Prior. Pretty sure the juice is around that long skinny 'yacht club' island. There's a sunken dock and few sunken barrels off the weed edge.

Welcome. Okeechobee can be an awesome home lake. Was better in years past but still an awesome lake. The weather you will enjoy. You might miss the seasons though.

Not as much as I hate Minnesota's winters and restrictive fishing seasons! It's snowing as I type this.

Yikes, Born and raised in Michigan. Been there done that. If you just fish its okay. Hunting in 90 degrees in a bug tamer suit sweating sucks. I really miss the fall most of all.

    Congrats, Bassburch!

My buddy just moved back here to San Diego earlier this month from Prior Lake, was there for 6 or 7 years. He sold his big house on lower but kept his smaller house on upper, so I'll have a place to come hang out at during the summer.

Good luck to ya. As much as I despise winter, I don't think I could ever leave the beautiful lakes up here and their bass fishing. I have fished from LOTW to Falcon and MN has the best all-around bass fishing experience anywhere. The variety of types of lakes and of course the river is just awesome. I absolutely love exploring new lakes and there's several lifetimes worth here.
There was a time that I didn't fish but I cannot remember it.

You didn't throw your pet alligator into the lake did you? One was found on prior this week.

Wasn't me . Poor little fella didn't survive. Must've gotten too cold for it.
