    Blazer 190 proV Setup help

Just picked up new to me boat. Need Help! Ok guys, here’s what I know. The boat has an 08 carbed 150 Yammie on it with a 25 Tempest. Seems too much prop. I ran it yesterday WOT and with the rooster at cowl level it turned 5400 rpms. It has an 8” slidemaster on it and I haven’t measured prop height yet. Also it has a working water pressure gauge so I know I can tinker a bit. If A Blazer guru reads this, I would love to talk to someone on the phone about what to do cuz i suck at typing. I know this boat is under powered but it’ll have to do until I can upgrade to a 4 stroke 200. GPS with two 200 lb guys in the boat was 58 mph. Thanks for any and all suggestions

You’re not far off as it is. Put a Tempest+ 23 on it and run it. Those hulls run well with a high engine setting but you won’t get there with that engine, assuming it has the stock lower unit on it,no low water pick ups.
