Yes I have a Lowrance Live 12 and a Garmin 1222.

I have both. I have always had Lowrance and that is what I was used to. I got the Garmin for the Livescope.

The Garmin is a chartplotter only and only good for livescope.

I was adding livescope and was going to change to a complete garmin setup but after deeper thinking and some other influences I decided to keep my Lowrance live units (have 2 12’s at the console also) and just added the 12” garmin for livescope alone. I got the 1242 that has sonar capabilities and lake mapping that way if I decide to change over later I have a unit fully capable besides just a screen.

with the fish finders set up like a sail I doubt you can run 90 , sounds like you have them sticking out at the windshield also. I could be wrong but thinking about all that wind resistance it must chew up horsepower .
