    Nitro savage?

I have a 99 20ft savage with a 150 etec. Running with no jack plate. 14.8x17 Evinrude 3 blade prop. Turning 5900rpm at 50 mph with heavy load. 54 with light load. Great hole shot. My only complaint is porpoising when running slower.

Will switching to a 4 blade prop help? Is a jack plate a must as well?

4 blade will help a little being under rated I would put a hydrofoil on it.

At what speed does the porpoising start?
There’s no use being stupid if you’re not willing to show it off.

I have an 884 savage. 150 merc efi.
6” plate and Chris made hydrofoil. It runs 5800 rpms, 60 mph by myself 56 with everybody in it! LOL. BUT, I think all these savages porpoise at slower speeds, but man did that hydrofoil help it, a BUNCH as slower speeds

Generally right away once on plane, trimmed down in glass and i can almost avoid it but with chop it will start right away unless i speed up. Usually around 25mph(i think) i can trim how i want and it will ride great.
