Noticed that there are 2 different Torque Master L/U's coming on the new ProXS 250's on bass boats. Mine has a June 2019 mfg date and has 3 holes (per side) water inlets. Ones after July are coming with 5 holes per side.
Both show same PN on Merc site.
Example: 2b685615 (3 holes) TM
2b691597 (5 holes) TM
What is reason for the more recent update?

My first guess would be the early ones were not getting enough H2O.
Increased water supply- and it's a simple "running change" in production.
Rumor has it that it will make it a bit easier to run the engine on earmuffs as well (was nearly impossible w/3 openings only).
