    SI transducer location

Seen it mentioned in another thread but figured I would start a new one. On my old boat I had my hdsi transducer mou ted on the starboard side of the jack plate and it worked great. Seeing more and more pics online of the transducer mounted under the jackplate in the center and im kindof liking how clean that looks and makes sense it would work well centered there. Is that where most of you guys are mounting yours? Gonna be running a helix 10 mega si g3n on the console. Thanks!

I mounted mine under the jackplate with a piece of aluminum I got from a metal shop. Mounted it in 2013 and never had a problem with it.
