    Patoka today

Went to Patoka this afternoon for a little fishing. Seem to catch most of the shorts on Points and shallow. They were slamming the bait but just dinks. Only one keeper bass and about 6lbs catfish caught on a DT6 at the rip rap at 145. lol. All fish were caught on on a chartreuse and black Squarebill. Curious if anyone had good luck this weekend with decent weight.

Was out today late in the day. Had 2 over 5, but what was really surprising was the number of small fish. Probably caught over 40 smalls in a few hours. Crankbait also.

Had a USA Bassin there on Saturday, lots of limits turned in along with a few nice heavy fish!

The water has finally left the bushes, so the little bass that have been in there all year are just going crazy. If the stripers and walleye don't eat them all, there should be a good population of keepers in a couple years.
