I haven't seen an Optimax on a 190, but a friend repowered from a Johnson 175 to a E-Tec 200 and made that boat fly! It did not look like it sat a$$ heavy in the water with the 200 on it. What is the difference in weight between the two?
the Optimax weighs about 125 lbs more than an EFI.

I'm running 66.3 mph with full tank of gas and tournament loaded. With a four blade prop. I be leave the prop is a 25p. It jumps out of the hole. I love it hardly use's oil and gas.
