Who has tunes in the boat?

I had an old Jensen cd/fm tuner in my boat and it was worth less. I just installed a Kenwood Bluetooth tuner in the boat. Paired it up with my iphone. Wow! I’ve got music again. Now folks nearby don’t have to listen to me sing or talk to myself.
Since I don’t see too many bass boats with radios blaring I’m wondering how many closet audiophiles there are.

I have sonic hub with kenwood speakers in my boat , sometimes I’ll listen to it on low while practicing but I usually crank it up load on a long run helps pass the time and gets your mind off the run

last boat had a JL Audio system, new boat is a winter project for this year and will probably just duplicate what I had before.
4 x 7.7 JL speakers, 4 x 2" silk dome tweeters. 600 watt JL amp. I had an Alpine head unit, blue tooth with Sirrius enabled, this was in the glove box. On my dash I had a "wired remote" that I used to control everything.

I installed a Sonic Hub ll this summer when the lakes were all 20’ high. Took some advice from a guy and didn’t use the Lowrance speakers. I went with a pair of JL 6.5’s. I was going to go with a JL amp and woofer but it sounds plenty good enough for me. I always listen will I’m cleaning the boat or working on tackle. I’m thinking of going ahead and getting satellite radio too. I’ve been very happy with the SonicHub.

One advantage of having to wear hearing aids is I can listed to Sirius from my phone directly to my ears.

No music for me. I like to hear natural sounds while fishing. I crank the tunes to and from the lake in the truck!

I had a system in my bay boat but when I came back to bass fishing I didn’t want any tunes. I only want them when I’m fishing alone sometimes and want to hear talk radio. I have a JBL Charge 3 (or something like that) that’s bluetooth and good enough to use on the TV in my bedroom. Sound at least as good as a sound bar.

I have an ancient Maxxima cassette player with AM/FM. I have an extendable antennae that I use to get some of the local radio stations. There are couple of decent stations that have good reception on most of the lake. I almost always have tunes on after the early morning bite....

The great thing about having a stereo is that you can turn it off if you like. Many of my fishing partners enjoy listening to sports as we fish... Just the big games. I don't do sports.
