On the lake I fish, if you don't have your own music, you get to listen to gangsta rap all day from the wake boats.

sonic hub 2 and 2 kicker speakers. I ran the lowrance speakers for acouple years but they didn't do well at 100% volume. under 95% they were fine. Went to the kickers last spring and they are much clearer, they sound perfect up to 100% also they have a little more "thump" to them and are a touch louder at 100%.

I’ve never listened to music while fishing. I like the peace and quiet. On occasion I may listen to a ball game while fishing. Truthfully, I don’t even know if the stereo still works in my boat.

If I had a radio in the boat; the only time it would be on would be during baseball season. Who doesn't love the sound of the crack of the bat?

Don't, but thinking I'd like it. I miss listening to football on Sundays when I go.

I've been running this BOSS bluetooth receiver for a few years coupled with these small speakers.

I rebuilt my dash/gauges, etc when I restored my 335v so I was able to make use of otherwise vacant space.

With my nueropathy, I have to hear boats coming so I don't get blindsided by their wakes and get tossed into the lake.

When I didn't have to deal with numb feet, I would sometimes listen to my Ipod when fishing. I would put the iPod in my pants pocket and fish the earbud wire under my tshirt so it doesn't get in the way of my casting.

There are enough ski/wake boats blasting tunes around the lake, no one wants to hear my tunes.

Plus I am an audiophile who loves loud clean music. I would rather listen to music through good earbud speakers than mid quality speakers in a boat. My home theater/music system can knock your fillings out of your teeth when I crank them up. I don't want to do that on the water.

You can learn a lot about people by the amount noise they make and other forms anti-social behavior.

I sometimes turn my stereo on and listen to either music or podcasts when fishing alone. If someone pulls right in front of me, I can put in my earplugs and crank it to the max for their listening pleasure.

I have a Sony head unit and Rockford Fosgate speakers in mine. No amps but it's nice to listen to football games and when I'm working on the boat in garage
