    2.5XS OT998968

    I need an air compressor. I’ve checked parts online and called mercury. The part is discontinued. Who would have one? Can they be rebuilt?

    +1. I looked on their parts search using your serial number (first character is a 0 not O) and a note to contact them for alternatives pops up. There are no rebuild kits for air compressors, but am certain European Marine can get you fixed up. I do, however, suggest you email them rather than call as they're very busy this time of year - If you want to order or price Mercury Engine Parts or Accessories

    Thanks. I tried call Don Friday but he was closed. Tim Powell with Fastbass Marine got me hooked up. He contacted Mercury for me and found a solution.
