    That man saved an airline $thousands plus. Had it hit the plane it would have been an enormous bill to recertify after repairs.

    That is a fact......He had better not be second guessed or written up for not checking in with 3 or 4 supervisors up the line to get authorization to stop a runaway catering cart by using that red device.

    Very quick thinking even with the possibility of injury. He saved that airline probably close to a million in damages and lost flight earnings.
    I see nothing less than a massive bonus for this guy. I am sure that move is not in training or part of his job description!
