    Loose Steering Wheel

On the lake this weekend and I noticed my steering wheel has little too much play in it and its probably time to tighten up.
its a 2005 Cougar FTD with tilt.
Can anyone tell me the proper way to do this and maybe what/where the nuts are that need to be tightened?

Depends. There are definitely 3 bolts/nuts that go through the fiberglass on the dash. You can access 1 end of them from the back side. If you need access to the other side (there are other bolts there) you will have to remove the wheel to get the cover off...

If it has play without wobble, it needs the hydraulic line purged of air.
It it wobbles, replace the tilt assembly, I did that on my 2016 Puma.
