Look for the Chronarch 200E5 on the Boards "reels for sale" or on ebay. Nice ones should run about $150.
5.5:1, 23" per turn, 7.6 oz. All the power you need to retrieve XD type crankbaits but will still easily throw a wart sized bait.

Tough to beat ol' faithful, straight Lew's BB1. Nice big spool and cast silky smooth stock.

    I'm using a Tatula 150 P 5:4:1 , and Lew's BB1 5:1 for deep cranks.
And Fuego ct 6:3 , for squarebills.

Maybe unpopular opinion: You don't need a special reel for cranking short of the really big and/or deep diving ones. A regular one with a slower gear ratio works great for just about everything. I crank with a Tatula Type-R in 6.3:1 and it does great for everything I throw. It's maybe pushing it a bit on DT20s and 6XDs, maybe, but it does the job just fine, particularly for how often I throw them. If I was deep cranking on Fork or something where I was throwing a big 10XD all day long, I'd probably want something a little more designed for the task. But for an all-around reel, I think using a big heavy duty reel for throwing shallow to moderately deep divers is complete overkill.

I agree. For anything 14’ or less I use a Fuego Ct 6.3:1 and shallow cranks like a 1.5 I use a 7.0:1 Quantum PT that’s still kicking

Lews BB1 Pro 5.4 ratio I believe it was. Probably by far the best crankbait specific reel I have used thus far. However since I am a Daiwa guy I picked up a Daiwa Zillion TWS SV 5.5 ratio and put a 100 mm handle on it and it works really well also.

Most 6.x to 1 reels will work. But for high torque and deep diving cranks I'd look into a reel like the Revo Winch. That reel is a torque monster and you can fish DT16's, DD22's, 6XD's, and the like without tiring or feeling like the reel is working hard.

I was using a TDX 103 P with an aftermarket spool, I am thinking ai should speed the reel up.
