I plan on doing an led install on my boat. Is a voltage regulator necessary? If so, wich one? Also wich inline fuse will work the best?

Not sure bout a regulator. Never did one on my led compartment lights. Any 15a inline automotive/marine fuse should work.
A voltage regulator is a good idea. The inline fuse should be rated one and a half times the total current of your led lights. How necessary is a regulator? Most LEDs are good for quite a range of voltage, but I supposed it would depend on the individual products used.
I'd have to do a TON of rewiring to add one like in the link above---just when I thought I was done with boat work.....
