    Reverse lights added to trailer?

Has anyone added reverse lights to their trailers?

Bought the boat in April, finally noticed, it did not have backup lights.......

My 2015 has a single led on the back of the fender below the marker light, I tapped into that useless single led and ran a couple 20" bluewater white leds on the frame and they actually help. And have withstood over 500 days of use

I bought two cheap waterproof LEDs off of Amazon. I tapped into the reverse solenoid and fished a wire back through the frame. I also put a Blue Water waterproof push button switch at the tongue so the lights are not on all the time.

I think this will be the first thing I do when I pick up my boat. Ramps suck in the dark.

Same here. Bought new brake lights that came with back up lights, just ran a wire and tapped in.

I did and added a switch too.

I believe these were the lights I purchased.

Thanks. Those are really cheap too. I like the idea of having a switch as well. Definitely something I'm going to do soon.

I did. Bought the surface mount oval LEDs and wired it off the reverse solenoid. I'd have added this switch, too, if'n I'd been smart enough to think of it!

They make oval led trailer light that turn white when truck is in reverse. Someone on this site has them.

I use the ones below. Run a wire thru the trailer and tap into the blue reverse solenoid wire.

You just need to t-tap the solenoid. The brackets affixed to the trailer are the ground.
