Trailer Tuff coat...Hard on nylon straps

My Heritage trailer has their tuff coat on it. My travel cover has nylon straps that go around the frame and back up to a snap. After just a couple of trips towing with the cover on, the nylon straps started to fray.

PROBLEM SOLVED: I took a rubber bungee cord and ran it around the frame and attached both ends of the bungee to one end of the S hook and crimped it tight. They are positioned at each spot where a nylon strap was hanging.

The other end of the single S hook I positioned to be pointing up. I then closed the the remaining end of the single S hook a little and now run the nylon strap through the end of the S hook that is pointing up and then up to the snap.

No more fraying of the straps. The straps now run through the smooth S hooks. Bungee cords now take all the wear & tear.
