    You're shitting me???

I've never paid any attention to that. I'll be damned.

If that's the case then #6 throttle body is doing it. Hahaha. If I'm sitting in the seat looking at thel engine its bottom left that's pushing air out. Wow.

I didn't take it apart and look yet. But yes its blowing back out of throttle body. Other 5 will suck your hand into it. This one is pushing air back out.

From what I can see with the throttle body removed I dont see any damage or chips or missing reeds. However it does appear to me, also comparing to the reed block beside it, that a few of the bottom reeds are not seating back closed at all. I believe Mike is right. We are getting somewhere.

Take a 9/64th Allen wrench and check the reed cage Allen head screws for tightness, they are on each side of each throttle body. I've seen the screws back off the cages a bit and not have a good seal. If they are all tight then it could be a bad reed cage gasket. You're going to have to take the TB's off and then pull the lower intake manifold and inspect. You'll need a new lower intake gasket at least.

If you do pull the intake manifold off it would be a good time to install a set of Carson reeds.

I second Champs motion....but you need to do them all at the same time.....then the whole intake needs to come off and new gaskets all around.

Just wanted to update in case someone searches this. A new reed block gasket cured what ailed it. Ran it today and the idle is perfect and its back to running like a top!!! Thanks to everyone who had a hand in helping me fix this issue.
