Split screen SI view?

I saw a video of Bryan Thrift and he had the screen split with left SI on top and right SI on the bottom. Unfortunately he didn't say how he got that view. It was a Helix 12 but I'm not sure what generation or update. I looked all through my Helix 10 g2n and couldn't find it. Anyone know how he did that? is it a g3n option?

It is a view selection on current units and updated units. He did not do that, you can't create views with Helix units, just set them to Visible or Hidden.

You have a lot more Display area for your image. It does take a little getting used to.

Never stated that he create the view. I just wasn't aware it was an option as for some reason it was hidden on the unit I just purchased. And apparently I'm not the only person. Thank you for letting me know what view name to look for.

I use it :
view both sides on top of the screen ranged out to 80 ft with mega
And on the bottom half I range in to 50 foot for detail

I just tried looking on my Solix for this setting and could not find it. Was this option specific to the Helix but could be transferred to a Solix if both were networked? Thx for any info. Steve

It is a standard view with somewhat current software for Helix units.

It is a custom view with SOLIX and ONIX units. There is no setting for it, you have to create it in the View menu. Then you have to turn off Global so you can use separate settings for the top and bottom views.

The only thing you can share between Helix and SOLIX is waypoints----no views or sonar data.
