Charging lithium with Noco Genious

I was told by NOCO as well as many others not to use any charger that has a desulphate mode incorperated which the Genius does have on lithium's
Since I am planning on getting lithium's from Drew by spring I would like to know the definitive answer to this as I have a four bank genius now
Have I missed something?

The Noco Genius is a smart charger that analyzes the battery first, it would only activate recovery/desulphate mode if very low voltage is detected which will not happen because the BMS would shut down the battery before it got that low and in almost every use the battery Will never be drained below 12v anyway.
I verified this with my Noco rep.,
