Yellow Cap Found in Cowl Area

I found this yellow cap in my cowling area. Not sure how long it has been in there but I took two pics, I have attached 2 pics. I looked up the cap online, it appears it is a cap for a plug for threaded connectors. Any ideas???

Not needed but goes in the center of the flywheel covering the nut

Unless you fish in saltwater, you NEED to remove the cap and throw it in the trash.
