Saw guys posting where they used the passenger console piece to extend the deck for the rod tips. My boat doesn’t have the passenger kit. Any thoughts to what guys without the passenger console can do ?

I've got the console, but I do not want to disassemble it for this use.
One thought, and I need to look at it, but you might could make a piece to slide in where the rod butt holder fits and then make a top to extend the surface. Now you got me thinking about it so I will out there trying to figure it out! I can already see a way to do it in my mind! I'll keep you posted.

And remember I don’t have a console more the adapter kit
I have to ask, who cares if the tips extend off the deck?

Exactly! I've had rod tips get into the co's reels. Not good.
