Broke my Kistler KLX 7'8 A Rig Special
They no longer make that rod. What would you replace it with? Would like to keep it with Kistler but open to options

I bet this one would work well: https://www.kistlerrods.com/store/he...-moderate.html
I use a Dobyns Extreme 795FLIP. I tried it on a whim and love it. Doesn’t tire me out at all. Loads on the cast well and has a moderate tip action that keeps fish pinned. An option to explore if you change from Kistler.
I use one of these. Really versatile rod. I've used it for top-water frogging, throwing big swimbaits and for punching. It excels all around.
I also have the KLX "badboy" stick. It's XH Mod-fast. Less expensive than the H3 and just as versatile. Rated for heavier lures too. I throw swimbaits up to 5oz on it.

I really loved that 7'8 length
I just got an Expride 7’7” H for rigs.
if you dont want to invest a bunch of money in an A-Rig rod then I would suggest the Dobyns Fury Swimbait Rod. It's 7 ft 9 and rated 1-5 ounces. It's a really good rod for the price!

The Daiwa Kage 791MHRB A-Rig is an awesome A-rig/Swim bait/mag spoon type rod. Most guys don't know much about them because they're only available at select Daiwa dealers, but the entire series is really impressive... Feel free to call the shop at 256 281 6160 with any questions, or shoot me a PM anytime.

I see quite a lot of guys use the SKEET A-rig rod and it has good reviews on that thing called INTERNET.
