    Help with Fall River bass fishing

    New to river fishing. Any tips on where to find the bass in the Fall in rivers??

    Check the mouths of feeder creeks and watch for feeding shore birds.

    If you are in a smaller river with smallmouth look for the pools right below a shallow ripple and the eddies.

    Every river and year is different based on water conditions, but on the mississippi any eddy can hold a bunch of fish. Wingdam, islands behind any type of point. Anything that creates any eddy where you see the water swirling opposite direction. If the water is low and the current isnt to bad the pockets and the very tips of the wingdams can be very good
