    Can a Ice auger dig a Hole ?

    I have a access to a Strikemaster gas Auger.. Can the gas stikemaster dig a post hole in clay soil about 36 inches deep ? I don't want to mess up my old neighbors Auger ..

    Oh I'm sure it could but you wont have a friendly neighbor friend when he gets the auger back. If its 1 hole buy a post hole digger and do it by hand. If multiple hole I know tractor supply actually sells an earth auger attachment that may fit, that you might be able to use.

    The powerhead can, the blade cannot. Best option is to just rent one...probably cost you $20.
