new hydraulic steering kit for 2200?

I am replacing the helm, hoses and cylinder on my 2200. What are the recommendations for hydraulic steering? Do I go back with the regular sea star? Or should I upgrade to the new sea star tournament edition or possibly the uflex? Any help would be great. I saw where the regular sea star is only rated up to 75 mph. hopefully with the freshly rebuilt motor I can break that.

gotta go with the HP recommedation...
higher HP = HIGHER torque on steering...
that needs more HIGH Pressure hoses and fittings...

Ok so in that case the regular seastar pro should be fine. Im pretty sure thats what is coming on all the new boats now.

Uflex has a more robust steering cylinder. The SeaStar Pro is a “yoke” design that over time either deforms or wears putting slop in the steering. Once that happens there are no end user remedies. Telflex/SeaStar will not sell you the parts needed to repair the steering cylinder. Then you have to use a certified rebuilder - if you can find one. Check with Don over on the Merc 3.0 page for Uflex parts and pieces...
