    Stratos 486sf prop recommendation

I was just wondering what others are using on this boat. This is a new to me boat. Current setup is johnson 150, no jackplate with a 14 3/4 x 19p sst aluminum prop. It has a great hole shot and tops out at 52mph around 5800rpm with 2 people and half a tank of gas. I do not want to add a jackplate. I would like a little more top end speed without sacrificing to much on the hole shot. I pull tubes and on occasion skiers.

Thanks for any and all input.

Keep that prop for ski days - if you want top end get a 19p tempest plus 3 blade. to get Top end you need a stainless prop that won't flex. Since the 19p is getting you to the RPM that you require I would stick with that although if someone near you has a 21p I wouldn't hesitate to test that and see what kind of numbers you get.

Appreciate the info, was kind of what I was thinking. I tried a raker 14 1/2 x 22 i was keeping as a spare for the boat I just sold, it was a bit to much. I wish I could find a 20 or 21 to try.
