    Lower cowl seal adhesive

    What is the proper adhesive for the seal
    that is glued to the lower cowls?

    I never used any. It goes on tight and the upper cowl keeps it on. IMO, you must remove the lower cowl for regular maintenance and other issues so it is best NOT to use an adhesive.

    Seal in never glued on.

    Would certainly be a royal PITA when you want to clean the strainer and such where the lower cowl needs to be at least split to make room.
