Sonarhub AI 3in1 2in1 transducer compatibility Firmware update 1st Sept 19

Apologies if I'm a bit slow and this has already been posted, but came across this on the Lowrance Australian site today:

We are pleased to announce an update to the 19.1 software release for our high performance sonar modules S5100 & Sonar Hub.
This release includes the following enhancements:

• Sonar Hub support for Active Imaging 2-in-1 and 3-in-1 transducers.

There is now a manual selection under the transducer type for AI 3-in-1 or AI 2-in-1 under the echo installation dialogue box with Sonar Hub selected as source. This allows Sonar Hub users to enjoy the benefits of superior target detection and longer ranges that the Active Imaging transducer offers. Active Imaging transducers will not auto ID on Sonar Hub, so this selection must be made when running these transducers with Sonar Hub.

i tried it and couldnt get it to work. the last few sonarhub updates have jacked the images i was gettting. i get lines in the sidescan and both down and side scans stop and start. its a mess. i never did find where to select the transducers for the sonarhub.

This works with the latest firmware version. It is necessary to go into the echo sounder settings in the device and select the 3in1 sensor in the settings. Active Imaging transducers will not auto ID on Sonar Hub
