Can someone show me what BASS look like on lowrance HDs live down-scan and side imaging? I’m new to the units and can’t tell any of the fish apart.

Not really any way to tell what species a fish is. You need to have some idea of how the fish you are seeing are relating to structure, depth, water temp, time of year etc.
If suspended bass will usualluly be stacked vertically, this is very reliable, If on or near the bottom experience will teach you how bass relate to their surroundings such as humps, flats, ledges, trees etc, and help in making a decision on what species
