Lost My Transducer

A real chicken or the egg scenario today.

Knew I had an issue with the ducer, checked the back of the boat, see the free hanging cut wire. Tranducer is gone, cable pinched in jackplate, and the end severed.

Two scenarios...not that it matters.

1. Did the cable somehow pop of a fastener on the hull and then get wedged in the jackplate eventually ripping the ducer off the hull when I moved the jackplate?
2. Did the transducer fall off, cable pinch, wire cut.


All in all I have no transducer. Is this as simple as plug and play back into the structure scan with a new one? Do I need the lss1 or lss2? It plugs into the structure scan HD, anyone have one for sale?

Was that a hydro plate?

If its the SS HD box then het the LSS 2 ducer and yes just install ducer, run cable and plug to box, thats it.

But you need to try and figure out what happened so it wont happen again.
