Chart Select St Clair – Missing information

I’ve wanted to post on this for some time but I keep forgetting to get a screen shot

I purchased this spring of 2018
• SmartStrike for St. Clair Lake (requires HD Contour Layer for St. Clair) which will be added to your cart. • 2012 Aerial for St. Clair Lake.
• 2014 Aerial for St. Clair Lake.
• HD Contours for St. Clair Lake in Monroe County.
• Topographic layer for St. Clair Lake.

As you can see from the image it is missing the Main shipping channel and all of the Walpole Island channels
Anyone have the new version and can tell me if this has been updated?

Look at that same area with Navionics using the Navionics website's Chart Viewer.

I think that is Canada, not US coverage.

Those are Canadian waters. You might need to get the Lakemaster Ontario card to get the detailed map of the Canadian side. I have the card and I'll check St Clair tomorrow for you to see what it looks like.

Sorry I should have clarified the information that is missing is the Walpole First Nation Indian reservation water

The card/map has all of the Canadian water of the main lake and rivers

Except the Shipping Channel is considered Canadian water for legal/maintenance purposes

LOL another $125 dollars for a small section of the lake that should already be included in the map I purchased?

I might be willing to purchase the updated map of this lake for 50 bucks if it contained this information

But if they don’t include this information in a map specifically meant for this one lake but can provide it in a regional chart just to get you to spend more money that’s wrong

And it’s very difficult to research maps that you can’t see before you purchase

Looks like the latest LM Great Lakes chip has what you want - https://humminbird.johnsonoutdoors.c...great-lakes-v4. Not sure when this chip was released but if it was released before your ChartSelect was one year old you could have updated your ChartSelect for free. Navionics updates are the same way.

I was out yesterday and the water was a mess. Today’s winds certainly made it much worse.
