I always have my front seat in. It has become a must have for me with my back problems.

35 years with no seats I’m 54 . My fishing partner 58 was launched from the boat doing a hard right hand turn with the trolling motor into a stump two weeks ago . Only his pride was hurt then very wet . We laughed after getting him back in the boat . We both been have talking about putting them in our boats now for awhile . There’s are sign .

No seat for me. Maybe when I get a little older, but right now I'm good standing all day.

Best thing I ever did for my back was get rid of my seat. My posture is much better without it.

I always have a butt seat. Ive for whatever reason always had issues with my back aching after standing for long periods of time. No specific back issues just always had that problem. Not sure if its shoes or whatever.

Going on 65 soon and use a pedestal leaning seat. Have been for years. Most times, unless my backs bothering me I just lean on it, more for a point of balance than anything. It's saved me from falling out of the boat numerous times.
No one can be wrong that often so it has to be deliberate.

Same for me and I just might want to sit down every now and then.

Turn 60 in two months and i use a pro pole. Mostly i turn the seat backward and lean against it but i will turn it around and sit into it to take some weight off the legs for a few minutes several times per day. It the water is calm i will walk away from the pole for a bit when fishing off shore. But like said my balance is not what it once was and i need the reference of contact with the pole if the water is choppy.

I have my butt seat to rest my legs and back during the day. I don't fish sitting.

Fish mostly team...so out..leave one in on the rear deck in case someone (me) needs a break. Practice with a butt seat in front.

I'm 76 and use the front butt seat to lean against while still in a standing position. I can fish all day this way without any pain at all. Thank God for small favors.

I use a butt seat up front to sit/lean. I always have a full seat in the back of the boat just in case.

I always have the butt seat in up front in my boat. I also bring a butt seat and pole with me if I'm fishing in someone else's boat.

No front seat. Mostly fish small iowa lakes, not much wave action most days.
